Tax Implications on Winnings
For Tax Filers: 15% deduction (e.g., Rs450,000 on Rs3M prize; winner gets Rs2,550,000).
For Non-Filers: 30% deduction (e.g., Rs900,000 on Rs3M prize; winner gets Rs2,100,000).
Smaller prizes follow the same tax structure, with third-prize winners receiving Rs15,725 (filers) or Rs12,950 (non-filers) after deductions.
Where to Buy Prize Bonds?
Pakistani citizens can purchase Rs1500 Prize Bonds from SBP-BSC offices, authorized banks, and National Savings Centres by submitting a CNIC copy. These bonds offer a Shariah-compliant, risk-free investment with periodic draws.
The next draw is expected in August 2025. Winners are advised to verify results via official National Savings channels before claiming prizes.
